AcuLift™ Body Roller
The AcuLift™ Roller offers a safe alternative to ablative treatments such as laser resurfacing, chemical peels or dermabrasion, or non-ablative treatments such as IPL™, Fraxel™, or CO2 laser. It provides a non-invasive, easy-to-use and affordable way to improve the appearance of skin or hair.
The AcuLift™ Body Roller comes in a clear plastic case that can be used as storage in between uses. Each roller measures 6.0 ”l x 1.75” w tapering to 1” and is contoured to fit nicely in the hand. The roller itself has a diameter of 0.75” and contains 1080 1.5mm micro needles.
Here’s what makes the AcuLift™ Roller unique:
1) More needles. The AcuLift™ Roller uses 1080 extremely fine (1.5 mm in length) needles, much like tiny acupuncture needles, that penetrate the skin just enough to stimulate production of collagen and elastin (protein fibers found in skin cells) without injury to the skin.
2) Shape of the needle. The AcuLift™ Roller uses diamond-shaped needles. These are safer and more secure than commonly used wire-shaped needles.
3) Safety. AcuLift™ Dermal Rollers are FDA approved, pre-sterilized, and made of lightweight, sterile, durable rustproof titanium over steel. They can maintain their sharpness for up to six months of daily use. AcuLift™ is the only FDA registered device available through acupuncturists in the US. Most dermal rollers are not FDA approved, or sterile.
**Full instructions included inside the package. Consult an acupuncturist or other medical practitioner before beginning treatment.
A. This FDA registered device causes little to no pain and is quick and easy to use. Although the needles do not damage the skin, it is normal for the skin to be a little sensitive at first. Typically this dissipates after a few treatments.
Q. What about downtime?
A. There is no downtime with the AcuLift Dermal Roller™. The microscopic channels created with the high-quality fine needles fully close within just a few hours after use. Studies show that new collagen structures are formed within the skin’s lower layers and the skin is left thicker and more youthful looking, without risks and side effects commonly encountered in dermabrasion, chemical peeling, and laser-resurfacing. The roller leaves the epidermal layer fully intact.
Q. When will I notice results?
A. Collagen production takes about 21 days. Results may vary depending on your age, lifestyle and health.
Q. How do I use my dermal roller?
A. Make certain face is clean and dry. Use roller gently at first until you know what your skin can tolerate. Follow instructions on box for proper direction to roll the AcuLift™ roller.
Do not use on lips, eyelids, nipples, genitals, or inside the body.
Use every 2-3 days until your skin becomes accustomed to the roller.
Never share with other people, do not use on children or pets.
Do not use on sunburn, open cuts, active herpes, pustule acne lesions or any other acute infection or inflammation of the skin, have a history of poor wound healing, collagen diseases, blood problems, are pregnant or lactating, are prone to keloid scarring or have diabetes or sore areas.
Aspirin, Ibuprofen, vitamin E and blood thinning drugs all cause increased bruising and should not be taken in the two weeks leading up to treatment.
Store in the clear case when not in use.
