Called “herbal application moxa” and “cold moxa” in Chinese, the application of stimulating medicinals to the skin has long been a traditional “non-mugwort moxa method” in Chinese medicine. Blue Poppy Liquid Moxa is the perfect solution if you cannot or do not want to burn mugwort in your practice.

Herbal Functions
*Ai Ye (Folium Artemisiae Argyii) is acrid and warm, enters and frees the flow of all the channels and network vessels, scatters cold, eliminates dampness
*Chuan Jiao/Hua Jiao (Pericarpium Zanthoxyli) is also acrid and warm. They are powerfully aromatic and penetrating
*Gui Zhi (Cortex Cinnamomi) and La Jiao (Fructus Piperis Capsici) are acrid and hot, warm the channels and vessels, and stop discomfort.
*Bai Jie Zi (Semen Sinapis) is acrid and warm, moves yang and scatters cold.
*Sheng Jiang (uncooked Rhizoma Zingiberis) is acrid and warm, moves the qi and transforms dampness

To Use: Apply to the affected area or acupuncture points chosen for stimulation similar to regular moxibustion. For best results, use in conjunction with a TDP or regular heat lamp, hair-dryer, or some other external heat source. Avoid contact with eyes and genitals
