How do we tap into the power of our home?
In this masterclass, Dr. Rabin introduces some of the more practical and intuitive principles of Feng Shui to harness the power of intentional design for use with patients/clients to improve therapeutic outcomes, as well as for the practitioner's own benefit.
She outlines specific ways to apply the ancient Chinese art of intentional object placement, which has been used for thousands of years to create inspiring and harmonious environments; specifically:
1. The 3 F's of Spatial Harmony (Flow, Form, and Function).
2. Yin and Yang and the balance of the two principles within a space.
3. The five elements, their expression as personality types, and how to both enhance and balance those expressions with Feng Shui design recommendations.
Introduce and welcome the students to the course. Explain the importance of the topic and the teacher's background.
15 min - 30 minTeach the practitioner the importance of empowering the patient. Share how patient engagement and increase patient expectations can improving therapeutic outcomes.
30 min - 45 minShare the definition of intentional design and how Feng Shui and intentional design work with sensory impressions. Then, share the effect of sensory modulation on behavior and biololgy.
45 min - 1.25 hrsIntroduce the 3 F's of Spatial Harmony: Flow, Form, and Function. Teach about how Feng Shui can improve each of the 3 F's in detail, giving specific recommendations.
1.25 hrs - 1.75 hrsIntroduce the concept of Yin and Yang in terms of Feng Shui and how to balance them using specific recommendations. Teach the Five Elements as nature's archetypes, each with a unique expression, and explain how to balance or enhance using Feng Shui.
1.75 hrs - 2 hrsPull together the content with some applications for clinical practice. Finish with Q&A for live participants.

About Jaime Rabin
Dr. Jaime Rabin is a sought-after wellness space and programming advisor; Feng Shui, intentional design, and meditation teacher; designer of some of Deepak Chopra's renowned healing centers and experiences' and the creator of the Illuminista Method, her signature system of intentional home design. She is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, a certified Feng Shui practitioner, a certified meditation instructor, a certified Ayurvedic lifestyle instructor, a well-being advisor, an aesthetic alchemist, a conscious leader, and—perhaps her favorite title of all—a magical realist. Following the role of Campus Director at the largest acupuncture school in the United States, Pacific College of Health and Science, she has had the privilege of joining the C-suite at Deepak Chopra's global wellness brand, where she designs and programs luxury wellness spaces and experiences alongside the nation’s top architects and hospitality partners, which has fed her personal passion for aesthetics and design. Some accreditation bodies have course approval expirations. If the approval expires, you will see a notice next to the name with a date of expiration: "[Until YYYY/MM/DD]". Please factor this date into your own renewal deadline. If an approval expires, you will be able to request that it is renewed and we will submit it for you within 2 business days. Renewals normally come back to us after 30 days. If your accreditation body is not listed under the "Approved" section, you may find it under the "Pending" section. That means that it is either currently pending approval, or that it is available for you to request: "[Upon Request]". New course approvals usually come back to us after 45 days. We use an automated system within our platform that allows you to make these requests in an easy and convenient way. Just visit the course page in your Net of Knowledge account and click the "Request Approval" button at the top. Each "Course and CEUs/CPDs" purchase grants you 1 request per accreditation body. If you request a course approval and do not complete it before its new expiration date, you will need to purchase another "CEU/CPD Add-On" to make another request. If the course is ineligible for approval with an accreditation body due to their subject-matter policies, it will be listed as "[Ineligible]", and no requests will be possible for the course.
