Shen Tong Zhu Yu Tang is a formula that was created in the late Qing dynasty by physician Qang Qingren to help alleviate painful blockages and stagnation of blood flow by promoting the circulation of the qi and blood.

Main Ingredient(s):

In this formula, Notopterygium (Chiang-Huo) removes blockages, redirects qi, and combats wind-cold dampness, and Cnidium (Ligusticum) stimulates the blood, circulates the qi, and extinguishes wind.
