Treasure of the East’s herbal extracts are full-spectrum, water-based extracts produced by Tianjiang Pharmaceutical. Unlike standardized extracts, which contain a concentrated quantity of a single marker chemical, full-spectrum herbal extracts contain all the active chemical constituents of whole herbs in concentrated form. Treasure of the East herbs are full-spectrum and extracted using only purified water.

Tianjiang Pharmaceutical is the global market and technology leader in concentrated herbal extracts. Founded in 1992, Tianjiang was the first manufacturer of concentrated herbal extracts to receive China's Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification for pharmaceutical products. Botanical materials are sourced directly from over 300 farms (including 66 of Tianjiang's own farms) to ensure quality from seed through finished product.
Treasure of the East is the first FDA-registered company to import granule herbs from mainland China, offering a complete line of granule extracts made by Tianjiang Pharmaceutical. For over 28 years, Treasure of the East has served the American TCM community with over 500 varieties of single herbs and formulas. The herbs were initially brought to the US by Dr. Ann Wang, CMD, LAc, an acupuncturist in New York State and former faculty member at China’s Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, for the benefit of her patients. However, demand grew rapidly by word-of-mouth in the Chinese-American TCM community and the Treasure of the East brand was born.
We are exceptionally proud to serve American healthcare professionals, medical institutions, contract manufacturers, and health and wellness brands, as Tianjiang's federally registered general agent and US distributor. Ours is the only US brand authorized to use the Tianjiang name.
