ASP Adhesive Plasters
More than 20 years ago, Sedatelec developed the ASP semi-permanent sterile needle for the ear. The ASP needle is composed of a small stainless steel, gold or titanium needle housed in a plastic injector. This injector allows the practitioner to grasp and easily and precisely implant the needle into the patient's ear. After placement, the needle can be protected by an adhesive plaster. The needle ensures a permanent action for as long as it remains in place. A black magnet housed in the injector can be turned around in front of the implanted needle.
Like all other models of Sedatelec needles, ASP needles are manufactured in a sterile room and sterilized by gamma irradiation. They are delivered sterile for single use.
