Part 1 of this series covers the understanding of the power of a laser beam, including the biological effects of laser light. We will cover a list of common diseases in which lasers are successful, including scientific evidence.
In Part 2 of this series we learn the method of treatment of painful skeletomuscular conditions at the tender points. Calculating the total dosage to be administered in a single session is of great importance and will be discussed in great detail. Treatment of a wide range of conditions including muscle injuries, nerve lesions, strains, osteo and rheumatoid arthritis will be explained.
Part 3 of this series covers treatment of caries, pulpitis, gingivitis, and dentine hyper aesthesia. Treatment of skin conditions like Acne vulgaris and non-healing wounds will be covered in great detail. ENT ailments like sinusitis will be covered. Common neurological conditions like facial pain and post herpetic pain will be explained, using lasers.
The final part (4) of this series will cover the treatment of the spine including cervical spondylosis, ankylosing spondylitis, disc degeneration and sciatica, using laser light. Common clinical conditions seen in our daily practice like frozen shoulder, tennis elbow and Achilles tendinitis will be covered. Use of laser at acupuncture points will be covered in treating migraines, anxiety etc. with protocols.
The newer concept of using lasers with Nogier frequencies will be explained. Thereafter the use of high powered pulsed lases will be explained in detail. This will enable the practitioner to decide which is the best LASER to use in clinical practice to achieve quick and effective results.
About Raman Kapur
Dr Raman Kapur, MD medicine, Dipl. Acu. Beijing university. Founder of Kapur Acupuncture Clinic and Institute of Acupuncture and Natural Medicine in New Delhi, is an internationally recognized Acupuncture practitioner, specializing into Pain management and Emotional health issues since 1982. Raman has treated and helped patients suffering from chronic debilitating pain conditions and psychosomatic issues. Using a combination of acupuncture, exercise, diet modification and life style changes Raman has helped patients to navigate through stressful situation and also avoid major surgeries in many cases. He is author of 3 books on acupuncture -“A guide to acupuncture and tissue cleansing system”; “Soft lasers in medical practice”; “Acupuncture cure for common diseases”. He is the head of department of Medical Acupuncture at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi and the president of the society of medical acupuncture in India. He also heads the committee formed by the government on recognition of medical acupuncture as independent system of healthcare. Raman teaches professional seminars to medical doctors on advances in acupuncture and use of needle-less forms of acupuncture and has published articles in international journals. Some accreditation bodies have course approval expirations. If the approval expires, you will see a notice next to the name with a date of expiration: "[Until YYYY/MM/DD]". Please factor this date into your own renewal deadline. If an approval expires, you will be able to request that it is renewed and we will submit it for you within 2 business days. Renewals normally come back to us after 30 days. If your accreditation body is not listed under the "Approved" section, you may find it under the "Pending" section. That means that it is either currently pending approval, or that it is available for you to request: "[Upon Request]". New course approvals usually come back to us after 45 days. We use an automated system within our platform that allows you to make these requests in an easy and convenient way. Just visit the course page in your Net of Knowledge account and click the "Request Approval" button at the top. Each "Course and CEUs/CPDs" purchase grants you 1 request per accreditation body. If you request a course approval and do not complete it before its new expiration date, you will need to purchase another "CEU/CPD Add-On" to make another request. If the course is ineligible for approval with an accreditation body due to their subject-matter policies, it will be listed as "[Ineligible]", and no requests will be possible for the course. Because this is a series, approvals are done on a course-by-course basis. If you see "[Partial Approval]" that means that not all courses have approval at this time. You will be able to request the remaining approvals if "[Remaining Upon Request]" is listed in the Pending section.

Unlimited Access and CEUsYou will have unlimited access to this series for as long as it is on Net of Knowledge, so that you can keep reviewing and learning from it over the years. CEU requirements must be completed within 1 year from the purchase. During this time, you must finish the training and complete any required documents to get your certificate. You must also print and save your certificate for your own records. Each individual course has a separate certificate of completion. There is no certificate for the entire series.
