General suggested use steps
1. Clean and dry the skin area to be treated, removing any makeup. Some skin products may deflect the light and reduce energy absorption.
2. For optimal results position the AcuLuma panel as close to the skin as possible.
3. Goggles should be worn while light is on.
4. Using the Remote Control
• Press and hold the On/Off button for three seconds to power on or off.
• Short press the Mode button to cycle through and select from red light, blue light, yellow light, or combined modes (red, blue, yellow, and infrared).
• To activate or deactivate infrared light press the IR button. When activated four red indicator lights will illuminate.
• To use and set the timer, press and hold the Time button for three seconds to activate. Timer may be adjusted in 10 minute increments up to 60 minutes.
• Short press to activate the pulsing light function. This turns the lights on and off intermittently in a controlled rhythm. The device's screen emits a white light when this feature is active.

Recommended Usage Guidelines
• Blue light helps calm the skin, clear acne, and reduce oiliness, making it ideal for individuals with oily or acne-prone skin. Recommended 1-2 times per week; frequency may vary based on individual skin conditions and be adjusted as needed.
• Red light stimulates collagen production the skin, reduces wrinkles, and enhances product absorption, helping restore a youthful appearance. Recommended 3-4 times per week; frequency may vary based on individual skin conditions and be adjusted as needed.
• Yellow light brightens the skin tone, reduces dark spots, and improves overall skin radiance, making it suitable for dull or uneven skin. Recommended 3-4 times per week; frequency may vary based on individual skin conditions and be adjusted as needed.
• Near-infrared wavelengths penetrate deeper than red light, reaching tissues, cells, and bones. This promotes healing for deep wounds, muscle soreness, nerve damage, or joint pain. Recommended 3-4 times per week; frequency may vary based on individual skin conditions and be adjusted as needed.

Caution: Avoid use with patients taking cortisone injections or other steroid injection(s). Do not use with patients with a history of seizure disorders. Do not use if the patient is pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid use with patients using photosensitive drugs. Do not perform LED therapy over known cancerous tumor or metastasis. Do not use on infants or children. Do not use if the patient has thrombosis or venous diseases. Do not use if the patient has a pacemaker or other heart rate monitor. Do not use on areas with skin ulceration. This equipment is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities. Do not place under blankets, sheets or towels. Failure to follow this precaution could result in shock. Healthcare providers as well as patients should avoid looking directly into the light, and wear goggles or appropriate eye protection during treatment. To avoid risk of electrocution, do not use this equipment in wet surrounds such as near pool. Do not place near any heat source such as radiators.
