It is a process of communication between a patient and practitioner that results in the patient's authorization to undergo treatment. This communication process is both an ethical obligation and a legal requirement in all fifty states. Honora Lee Wolfe began her studies in alternative health in 1975, becoming a founder and the first Director of the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. Ms. Wolfe went on to study tuina massage at the Shanghai College of TCM and completed her acupuncture training in 1988.
