Causes include overuse, where the nerves of the patella (kneecap) are irritated by the repeated bending of the knee, direct trauma to the knee, misalignment or foot problems or weak thigh muscles. Kinesio Pre-Cut Knee Support is designed for runner's knee, providing knee and patella support, and alleviating associated pain and swelling.

Each package contains a single-use set of tape strips and instructions. Each Knee Support application comes with one black I-strip, one blue I-strip, and one back Y-strip cut from Kinesio Tex Tape Gold.
