Blue Poppy’s Mama Ointment is designed especially for unruptured breast abscesses (mastitis). Its unique formula, from Wang Jin-quan and Cai Yu-hua’s Nu Bing Wai Zhi Liang Fang Miao Fa ("Five Formulas & Miraculous Methods for the External Treatment of Women’s Diseases”), acts to quicken and cool the blood, resolve depression and scatter nodulations.

Function of Herbs used in Formula:
*Ru Xiang (Olibanum) and Mo Yao (Myrrha) quicken the blood.
*Huang Bai (Cortex Phellodendri) and Da Huang (Radix Et Rhizoma Rhei) clear heat.
*Bing Pian (Borneolum) clears heat, scatters nodulation, engenders flesh.
To Use: Apply several times per day directly over the site of pain. For best results, use in conjunction with acupuncture and/or internally administered Chinese medicinals.
