Zuo Gui Wan was formulated by the Ming dynasty physician Jing Yue in the 17th century. This formula is used to address a deficient or damaged kidney true yin and a deficiency in the essence and marrow, by nourishing the kidney yin, fortifying the kidneys and marrow, and strengthening the essence.
