In this formula, Ginseng tonifies the qi and fortifies the spleen and stomach, Poria (Hoelen) and White Atractylodes combat dampness and fortify the spleen, and Baked Licorice warms, fortifies, and harmonizes the middle burner. These four main ingredients also complement each other’s properties.
