This formula was first published in “Correcting the Errors in the Field of Medicine” by the Qing dynasty physician Wang Qingren. Tong Qiao Huo Xue Tang is an herbal combination that is used to treat blood stasis as well as obstructed channels by invigorating the blood, dispelling blood stasis, and opening the orifices.
