This formula of Liu Wei Di Huang Wan nourishes the kidney yin and the liver yin in order to address deficiency in these areas and support the kidneys. Liu Wei Di Huang Wan was developed in the 14th century by the pediatrician Qian Yi to treat kidney yin deficiency in children, due to the kidneys’ important role in development.
