Series Overview
MMT started in the US when polio myelitis was active in early 1940's. Clinicians such as Wright, Lovett and Lowman were the first in the US to develop a muscle testing system that evaluated degrees of muscle strength for the progression of this disease. Since then, MMT has become a popular assessment method and continues to evolve into this modern day. Many practitioners from various disciplines find MMT to a valuable assessment tool.

MMT is an incredible evaluation tool and practice builder for the acupuncturist. Using MMT, before and after, an acupuncture treatment is essential. Strength changes are often noticeably different and it shows the practitioner the chosen acupuncture point selection and application was succussful. In addition, the strength change is noticed by the patient and has an impactful influence on you as an their acupuncturist. It is a profound practitioner and patient experience.

In this MMT video library for the acupuncturist, MMT and acupuncture points are shown for musculoskeletal injuries, muscle/channel imbalances, postural conditions, muscle firing sequences and more.

This video collection is broken down into the following categories: The Neck, The Shouder Joint, The Shoulder Girdle, The Low Back, Hip and Groin, The Knee and The Ankle

Changing muscle strength with acupuncture is something I have been using for 34 years as a licensed acupuncturist in clinical practice. I am excitied to share what has been successful for me.

*CEU/CPD Approvals

Some accreditation bodies have course approval expirations. If the approval expires, you will see a notice next to the name with a date of expiration: "[Until YYYY/MM/DD]". Please factor this date into your own renewal deadline. If an approval expires, you will be able to request that it is renewed and we will submit it for you within 2 business days. Renewals normally come back to us after 30 days. If your accreditation body is not listed under the "Approved" section, you may find it under the "Pending" section. That means that it is either currently pending approval, or that it is available for you to request: "[Upon Request]". New course approvals usually come back to us after 45 days. We use an automated system within our platform that allows you to make these requests in an easy and convenient way. Just visit the course page in your Net of Knowledge account and click the "Request Approval" button at the top. Each "Course and CEUs/CPDs" purchase grants you 1 request per accreditation body. If you request a course approval and do not complete it before its new expiration date, you will need to purchase another "CEU/CPD Add-On" to make another request. If the course is ineligible for approval with an accreditation body due to their subject-matter policies, it will be listed as "[Ineligible]", and no requests will be possible for the course. Because this is a series, approvals are done on a course-by-course basis. If you see "[Partial Approval]" that means that not all courses have approval at this time. You will be able to request the remaining approvals if "[Remaining Upon Request]" is listed in the Pending section.
